Years at PBE: This is my 8th year at PBE. It's my 4th year being in the role of a teacher, but my 1st year back after being home for a year as a SAHM.

Years in Education: 13 years

About me: I am a mom of 3. I love to read, go on hikes, and cook meals from scratch with my family. We love doing activities at the YMCA (like swimming or gymnastics) or going to the hands on museum in Olympia.

Fun Fact: Even though I was born in Washington, I grew up in coastal Alabama. One of my favorite snacks that I got to have growing up was Cajun Boiled Peanuts! 

Why I love working at PBE: The first reason I love working at PBE because the staff and students are so warm and welcoming. Everyone is excited to be there and learn together. The 2nd reason I love working at PBE is because I feel like I am serving my purpose. I am happy to get to be a part of the team and help make positive impacts on my community. The 3rd reason I love working at PBE is because why not PBE? The students are so creative and unique, it is an absolute joy to get to see them grow!
